Area weathered the storms in style

Last Tuesday the rains came and continued until the weekend causing traffic problems, flooding, cancellations and delays. With threats of Hurricane Joaquin making landfall in Virginia late last week and over the weekend, everyone prepared for the worse and made the best of the situation. Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe declared a state of emergency triggering cancellations of events across the county including the Joe Gibbs Youth for Tomorrow annual Country Fair.
