Loudoun could play role in DC’s Olympic bid

The nonprofit organization Washington 2024 and a who’s who executive board of Washington businesspeople and sports owners on Sept. 4 announced their intention to bring the Olympics to the nation’s capital with the unveiling of the website dc2024.org.

NOVA president to retire in 2015

Robert G. Templin Jr. has been the president of Northern Virginia Community College since 2002. In a board meeting held on Sept. 8 he announced his intention to retire in February 2015. “My time at NOVA has been the highlight of my career,” Templin said.
