7-Eleven robbed with pellet gun
On Nov. 17at 11:27 p.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven at 14820 Cloverdale Rd., Woodbridge to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the business with what appeared to be a handgun then demanded money and tobacco products. During the encounter, the employee determined the handgun was a pellet gun. When the suspect placed the pellet gun on the counter as he reached for the cash register, the employee picked it up and pointed it at the suspect who then fled the business on foot. An undisclosed amount of money and tobacco products were reported missing. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 and a helicopter from Fairfax County Police were used to look for the suspect who was not located. The suspect is a white male between 18 and 30 years old. He is said to be 5 foot 8 inches and was last seen wearing a black and white face mask, a black hoodie with a black shirt over top it, black pants, and black and white shoes.
Sunoco robbed at gunpoint
On Nov. 19 at 3:05 p.m., officers responded to the Sunoco Service Station at 14501 Gideon Drive, Woodbridge to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the business, showed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took money before fleeing the business on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. The suspect is a black male who was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, and black sunglasses.
