Claudia Haley Trenum

Claudia Haley Trenum, 84, passed away on Wednesday, January 16th, 2013 surrounded by her family at her son’s home in Warrenton, VA. She was born on August 23rd, 1928 in Warrenton, VA to James and Madeline Payne Haley.
Claudia grew up in Fauquier County, VA. She graduated from old Fauquier High School on Waterloo Street in Warrenton, VA in 1945. After high school she:
worked for D.P. Wood Hardware as a bookkeeper for 7 years
worked at Lerner Brothers as a bookkeeper for 3 years
worked for the Physician’s Hospital in Warrenton as a bookkeeper for 3 years
worked as the bookkeeper for Blue Ridge Hardware for over 10 years
owned and operated Trenum Bookkeeping Service for 33 years
Claudia married C. W. “Bill” Trenum in 1948 in Marshall, VA. They were happily married for 64 years. Claudia was a volunteer with the Hospital Auxiliary and actively involved with the Warrenton Assembly of God Church, founded and pastored by her husband. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking large family dinners, and spending as much time as possible with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Claudia was preceded in death by James and Madeline Haley, her twin sister Lena, and her brother David.
Claudia is survived by her spouse C. W. “Bill” Trenum of Warrenton, VA; her son, C. W. “Bud” Trenum III and wife, Bonnie, of Warrenton, VA; her brothers, Norman Haley of PA and Wade Haley of FL, and her sisters, Evelyn Ball and Lois Haley of Warrenton, VA; her grandchildren, Christiana Trenum, C. W. “Will” Trenum IV, Nicholas Trenum, and John Trenum and her nieces and nephews and other relatives.
The family will be greeting friends and relatives at Moser’s Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton, VA 20186 from 7 to 9 PM on Friday, January 18th, 2013.
We will celebrate her life with a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at the same location. Interment will follow at Warrenton Cemetery.
