Mr. Charles Evans Everhart Mr. Charles Evans Everhart, Sr. , age 84, a life-long resident of Lovettsville, VA, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012. He was born on April 24, 1928, to the late Charles Leonard Everhart and the late Mary Melva Evans Everhart. He owned and operated C. E. Everhart Livestock Hauling for over 60 years. He graduated from Lovettsville High School. He was a life-long member of the New Jerusalem Lutheran Church. Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife Garnetta, and his brothers, Leslie 'Kingfish' Everhart, Newton Bowers Everhart, Walter Coolidge Everhart, and Baby Mervin E. Everhart. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Linda D. Everhart of Lovettsville, Ruthlee (Milton) Holler of Shepherdstown, WV, and son Charles E. (Donna) Everhart, Jr. of Knoxville, MD. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family received friends on Friday, October 19, from 6-9 p.m. at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175. Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 11 am at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, on 12942 Lutheran Church Road, Lovettsville, VA 20180. Interment followed in the Lovettsville Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Everhart's memory to a charity of the sender's choice.
