Crash – Fatality | Hit & Run – On January 31st at 10:23AM, police responded to the 18400 block of Woodland Dr in Triangle (22172) for an unconscious subject. Caller reported to police that the victim, an adult male, was found in the roadway unresponsive. Rescue personnel responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he died. A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the roadway, when it is believed, that he was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene. Currently, investigators do not have any information on the striking vehicle. Identified:
The victim has been identified as Joseph Patrick LYONS, 59, of Triangle
