Comcast Cares Day 2016 at Occoquan

In partnership with Comcast and Leadership Prince William, the Town of Occoquan is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of the project sites for Comcast Cares Day, the largest day of volunteerism by a corporation in the U.S. Occoquan will welcome more than 200 volunteers to the community to help complete a number of maintenance and beautification projects that will benefit the residents, businesses, and visitors to the Town, as well as the entire Prince William County. Prince William & Northern Virginia SWCD Cooperative Introductory Stream Monitoring Training

This is a free introductory training on benthic macro invertebrates for all County residents who are interested in the District's Water Quality Monitoring Program or who would like to become certified stream monitors. Learn to Row – Free

Free learn to row events. Come learn what Prince William Rowing Club has to offer for both junior and masters/adult rowers. You will also learn rowing terms, the basic rowing stroke, get a tour of the boathouse and have a chance to row one of our boats. This is an open-house style event, no need to register. Spring Skills Development Program

Pat White Center at Ben Lomond is proud to offer the area's fastest growing soccer experience - 6 week Spring Skills Program, partnering with British Soccer Academy. All players receive a 1 hour training session per week for 6 weeks. Times are 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm for 2-3 year olds; 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm for 4-6 year olds and 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm for 6-12 years old. The program runs from Sunday, April 10 to Sunday, May 15 at Ben Lomond Park in Manassas.
