Adult Novice Rowing Camp

Prince William Rowing Club, a masters (adult) competitive and recreational rowing club for men and women in Prince William County. For two weeks, each Novice Camp boat of eight will go out on the water with four experienced rowers and four novice rowers. The Novice Camp program consists of six total sessions, Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays 8-10 a.m., May 24-June 4. Wildlife Garden Workday at Merrimac Farm

The Wildlife Gardens at Merrimac Farm is an ongoing project that creates an area in the community where people and the environment can come together as one. Bristoe Station Battlefield Heritage Park Tours

Bristoe Station Battlefield staff and volunteers will provide guided tours of the hallowed grounds that contain camps, cemeteries, and battlefields. The last tour leaves at 3 p.m. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Insect repellent is encouraged. No pets please. Liberia Plantation Tour
