Stage Views

This week we feature the  Texas Two Step.  Stages in Washington and Arlington offer audiences two  different trips to the Lone Star State. So, here as pretty as a yellow rose are two  reviews wrapped up into one, Texas-sized package.

Vint Hill Craft Winery

Vint Hill Craft Winery was founded in 2009 by veteran Virginia winemaker Chris Pearmund and a group of savvy business executives and wine enthusiasts. The industry leaders are spearheading a new concept in personalized winemaking, ensuring quality, success and sustainability. The unique, state-of-the-art “green” winery is located in the historic barns at Vint Hill Farms Station, VA. The barn facility was once a secure listening station used by the U.S. Government from the early 1940s through the late 1990s.

Vintage Ridge Vineyards

Vintage Ridge is a micro winery established in 2000, specializing in small lots of luxury, hand-crafted wines with an annual total production of only 1,2000 cases.

Three Fox Vineyards

Holli and John Todhunter studied, researched and planned until Three Fox Vineyards was launched in 2002. Three Fox Vineyards sits on 50 rolling acres, very reminiscent of Tuscany or the Piemonte, in the heart of Northern Virginia’s horse country and the Mosby Heritage Area.

Rogers Ford Farm Winery

The first vines were planted at Rogers Ford Farm Winery in 1980 when the modern Virginia wine industry was still very much in its infancy. The owners were growers for many years, selling fruit to other wineries, before offering their first commercial vintage as a farm winery in 2000. Today, three generations of the family work together in the vineyard, winery and tasting room. The vineyard currently produces nearly more than 1,000 cases per year. Limited and small-case lots allow us to craft wine of rarity and distinction, a product that is unique, genuine and honest.
