The proposal includes modifica tions to building height, FAR, and signage regulations. The Machine Repair Technician provides both preventative and emergency maintenance, and ensures the equipment is inproper working order. The position is on 3rd Shift work (Sunday through Thursday– 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.) The Technician will perform the accountabilities detailed below and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Electromechanical Emergency and Preventative Maintenance • Deliver high quality installation, preventative and emergency maintenance services • Diagnose and understand equipment problems • Work with a high degree of autonomy with the ability to test, diagnose and resolve issues • Utilize MP2 to maintain proper inventory levels, resolve issues, and provide customer support by following established processes for service activity reporting and call management. • Perform mechanical repairs on machinery to OEM specifications • Ensure safe environment is present during equipment repair and maintenance • Customer Interaction • Interact with customer operations staff • Be consistently reliable and timely in all aspects of the position, and display a positive attitude • Demonstrate customer relation skills that allow for independent resolution of most situations without management assistance • Work to continually improve customer relations • Learning and Development • Complete all company training and development courses • Develop competency in required applications to confidently use diverse software, hardware, and systems required by the operation • Assist less experienced personnel who require assistance with difficult repair problems • Committed to continuously improve by sharing ideas, problem resolution successes, and suggestions on process improvement Qualifications necessary to perform the responsibilities of the Machine Repair Technician are as follows: • Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent verifiable training (e.g., military training in relevant field) • Minimum of 2 years of electromechanical technician experience • Proficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills • Proficient with PC’s, current operating systems and relevant software applications • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, assignments, and limited travel • Ability to work weekends if needed • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Must be able to lawfully work in the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US • Proficiency in electro-mechanics, digital electronics and software • Skilled with tools and electronic test equipment Oberthur offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, sick/personal, STD, LTD, Life Insurance, and 401k match.
