Pursuant to Section 170-129 and 170-134 of the Rappahannock County Code, and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors for Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 7:00pm at the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, in order to consider the following application:

Laura E. Morey, Richard E. McNear, Nancy J. McNear, and Old Hollow, LLC request to rezone the balance of Tax Map 38, Parcel 72 and a portion of Tax Map 27, Parcel 56E, zoned A-Agricultural, to GC-General Commercial. Both properties are in the Piedmont District. The applicants have proffered that the rezoning request is to allow an outdoor eating area and overflow parking for customers of Cooters. Application allowed pursuant to Code Section 170-134 of the Rappahannock County Code.
A copy of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia, and is available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Said application will be presented to the Rappahannock County Planning Commission at their regular meeting on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 7:30pm at the Rappahannock County Courthouse for such recommendation as the Commission may wish to make pursuant to Section 170-55, if any. The above-named applicant, adjacent property owners, and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Board of Supervisors, c/o P.O.
