Fauquier County-basedweekly newspaper with daily online website has an immediate opening for a full-time reporter. The ideal candidate is someone with at least two years newsroom experience.

Position requires the production of at least six stories per week with some weekend and evening assignments. Candidates should have strong news writing skills, thorough knowledge of AP Style and the ability to originate and investigate unique news and feature stories. Familiarity with social media and video production preferred.

Preference given to candidates currently living in Fauquier County or willing to relocate.

There will be a writing test for this position. Salary is in the low $30k range.
