A new environmental action group is forming in Loudoun County. Join our 2nd planning meeting as we discuss how Loudoun can play a role in the growing environmental movement. We will talk about publicity and educational outreach, fossil fuel divestment, and possible actions in July. All are welcome!

Poised - Dance Therapy

Kick-off informational meeting on Wednesday, March 15 at 1 p.m. Class begins on Thursday, March 24 at 1 p.m. Classes will focus on low-impact dance, meeting twice a week for 10 weeks. Limited to 20 people. Sign up at front desk of Senior Center.

Adult Basic Education, GED, and ESOL Classes

Registration Begins March 2. Classes begin the week of March 29 for residents of Prince William County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park. Classes are scheduled for four evenings a week at different locations around the county. Some classes are held during the day. Allow approximately two hours for registration of Adult Basic Education and GED preparation. Allow approximately 30–60 minutes to register for ESOL classes. Class sessions provide 90 hours of classroom instruction. Call for registration sites and times.

By participating in a Parent Discussion Group, provided by Virginia Cooperative Extension, PWC, you will discover that you can: understand your children’s behavior, help your children learn to cooperate, build self-esteem for the entire family, communicate with your children and implement effective discipline practices. English and Spanish Classes are offered to parents for three different age groups: Young Child (birth-5 yrs.), School Age Child (6-12 yrs.) and Teen (13 yrs. & up).
