Robert K. Ryan

Robert K. Ryan Robert Kenneth Ryan, 54, of War renton passed away Friday, October 19, 2012. Born August 26, 1958 in Arlington, Robert became a skilled master car penter, specializing in custom homes and quality renovations throughout Northern Virginia. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marlene Miller; stepfather Paul H. Miller; grandparents Joseph J. and Ruth Ryan, and Melvin and Margaret Tyrrell; and uncle Stephen Ryan. Survivors include his sister, Katherine Griffin; brothers Paul Miller Jr. and Joseph E. Ryan; sister-in-law Karen Alvarez Ryan; aunts Patricia Ryan, Barbara Ryan and Artie Tyrell; uncle Butch Tyrell; father Joseph J. Ryan; and nieces and nephews Jessica Long, Melissa Kline, Samantha Ryan, Ashley Griffin, Daniel Griffin and Adam Ryan, and several cousins. Bob was a true Southern Gentleman' who will be sorely missed by his family and friends, he will remain in their hearts forever. A memorial mass will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, November 8 at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Warrenton. A graveside inurnment will take place the same day at 3 p.m. at National Memorial Gardens in Falls Church.
