James E. Chloe

James E. Chloe

James E. Chloe, age 76, of Front Royal went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2013 in the comfort of his home.

James was born on March 3, 1937 in Fauquier County to the late Willie and Gertrude Walden Chloe. He is survived by two children; one brother, Lindsey Chloe and wife Aleta Lavon Chloe; one brother-in-law, William Matthews, Sr.; two sisters-in-law, Constance Bailey Pendleton and Peggy Morton Chloe; and many other relatives.

He attended school in Fauquier County. He enjoyed working and training horses years ago on several farms in Middleburg. He also used to work at a horse training center for many years in Middleburg. Most recently, he enjoyed spending time outside doing yard work, watching the court shows on TV, and spending time with his great-great nephews Izaiah and Kaleb Matthews. James was well known for always having a smile on his face and his long stories; he will be missed by many.

The memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, March 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Philip Lewis officiating.

Flowers and memorial contributions may be made to Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home, 1200 N. Shenandoah Ave., Front Royal, VA 22630.

Personal condolences may be offered to the family online at www.turnerrobertshaw.com.
