FRANK LESTER MASON

FRANK LESTER MASON, age 84 of Bristow, VA, died on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at his home with many loving family and friends at his side. Frank was an Army veteran and honorably discharged from the Air Force Reserves as an airframes mechanic at Andrews AFB. He retired in 1994 from GMU School of Law as a maintenance engineer and was proudly a member of American Legion Post 10, Manassas, VA.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Teresa and his second wife Catherine Kline Smith Mason and his youngest son, Ronald H. Mason.
He is survived by his son,Frank A. Mason and wife Sue of Milton, Vermont, five step-children: Rebecca J. Fesperman and husband Brian of the home in Bristow, VA, Kelly W. Smith of Lake Anna, VA, Catherine Ramos of Falls Church, VA, Joseph T. Smith of Haymarket, VA and Wendy E. Long of Abingdon, VA.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Manassas Church of Christ, 8110 Signal Hill Road, Manassas with Pastor Barry Bryson officiating. Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the Manassas Church of Christ, 8110 Signal Hill Road, Manassas, VA 20111 in loving memory of Frank L. Mason.
