Christine Holmes Judd

Christine Holmes Judd, 86 of Amissville, VA died on March11, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Floyd, VA.

She was born on May 15, 1926 in Culpeper County, VA a daughter of the late Walter Carter Holmes and Mattie Mae Hitt Holmes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son- Wallace Lewis Judd; her sister Catherine Heflin Corbin and an infant sister and brother.
Christine was a homemaker and a longtime member of Amissville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years- Lewis William Judd; her daughter Pamela Judd Clark and her husband Bobby; her daughter-in-law- Phyllis C. Judd of Amissville; her grandchildren- Wallace Lewis (J. R.) Judd, Jr., Robin Christine Clark Brewer and Torrey Ezra Clark; her great grandchildren- Taryn Haleigh Brewer, Jaden Nikolas Brewer, Jaxon Lewis Brewer, Rosln Lily Brewer, Forrest and Wyatt Judd.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Wednesday at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14 at 11:00 AM at Amissville United Methodist Church by Rev. J. R. Judd and Rev. M. Peyton Embrey. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
