Charles Douglas Corder

Charles Douglas Corder Charles Douglas Corder, 89 of The Plains, VA passed away on October 23, 2012 at the Fauquier Hospital. He was born on April 10, 1923 in Fauquier County a son of the late Robert Lee Corder and Lillie Allison Corder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles Corder, Jr. Mr. Corder was honorably discharged in 1945 after serving two years in U. S. Navy. He worked as a carpenter. He is survived by his wife of 67 years-Lola Inez Thorpe Corder; two sons-Jimmy L. Corder of Marshall, VA and Jerry A. Corder of The Plains, VA; two sisters-Natalie Stevenson, Front Royal, VA and Lillian Furr of Warrenton; one granddaughter-Tara L. Corder, Fruitland, MD. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Friday at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA where funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 1:30 PM. Rev. Randy West will officiate. Interment will be at Marshall Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.moserfuneralhome.com.
