The 21st Annual Great Pumpkin Ride

The Great Pumpkin Ride starts and ends in historic Warrenton, VA with route options of 26, 47, and 68 miles. We reply on our sponsor and donor support for the success of our ride. Culpeper Felines & Friends - “Feline Fall Festival!!”

“Feline Fall Festival! Culpeper Felines & Friends will be holding a special adoption event at the PetSmart store in Culpeper, VA. For one day only, the adoption fee for all kittens and cats will be only $25.00. There will be an extra-large variety of kitties to choose from, and all of Culpeper Felines & Friends adoptable cats are already spayed or neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, and micro-chipped. Fall Harvest Days at Mount Vernon

17th Annual Regional Health Fair

The Regional/Community Health Fair offers free screenings, health education materials, an entertainment ministry, delicious food, and great fellowship. Mammograms and Flu Shots are the only screenings with a fee. This wonderful opportunity is sponsored by the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Orange County; the Orange Baptist Church in the Town of Orange; and the Orange County Public School System. There will be fun activities for the youth including: horse rides, moon bounces, face painting, jump roping, popcorn, and more.

Annandale Fall Festival

SHOP 'TIL YOU DROP: Over 100 Gift Vendors. The Annandale Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a spectacular Fall Festival in the Safeway parking lot on Little River Turnpike. This is the largest public event in Greater Annandale attended by over 10,000 people. The Annandale Fall Festival will offer something for everyone in the family, and will be held in conjunction with the annual parade for a fun-filled day! In the Food & Entertainment Zone, Rock, County, & Jazz Bands along with costumed international dancers, will entertain. Japanese, Thai, Nigerian, Caribbean, German, Greek, Italian, and Latin cuisines will be represented along with the perennial favorites such as barbeque, burgers and fried chicken, funnel cakes, snow cones, home baked good, cotton candy, Kettle Corn, and Jaguar Joe Coffee. In the Community Market you can SHOP ‘TIL YOU DROP with over one hundred vendors to include numerous artisan handcrafts. The ever popular Pet Vendors will again feature a broad range of clever pet accessories, dog trainers & walkers, and gourmet pet food. Children’s books & toys, endearing marionettes, herbal wraps & wreaths, garden accessories, quality giftware from major manufacturers, silks, handbags, exquisite hair jewelry, fashion accessories, and professional stylists will fill-out the Community Market. You can begin and complete your holiday shopping in this market. In the Kid’s Zone a full day of fun awaits. The Toddler Play Area will be back with age appropriate games such as the Bubble Booth and the Lil’ Pirate Moon Bounce. Puppet Shows are scheduled for your entertainment in The Secret Garden. The ever popular Obstacle Course & Bungee Jump are planned along with interactive & inflatable games. You can also test your racing skills with the Nationwide NASCAR’s Driving Simulator. The LOW Wilderness ‘Tiques chapter of Questers International is sponsoring an antiques appraisal show in the lower level of the Lake of the Woods Clubhouse. You can get three items appraised for $25 or $10 for one. Both cash and checks will be accepted. Providing estimates of value will be three professional appraisers: Sarah F. Hays, owner, Quail at the Wood, Culpeper; Kathy Shumate, owner, Shumate Auction, Warrenton; and Samuel P. Higginbotham, III, Esquire, Orange.
