Orange Downtown Alliance - “Orange Presents Downtown Halloween Trick or Treat Extravaganza!”

The Orange Downtown Alliance and Orange’s Sheetz will present an evening full of Halloween festivities for Trick or Treaters of all ages. The 20th annual children’s downtown Trick or Treating will be held downtown and Main Street will be closed off allowing safe entertainment and candy giveaways to children of all ages. There will be many local businesses and organizations handing out candy to our little munchkins. All participating businesses and organizations will have orange and black balloons displayed welcoming the little ghosts and goblins. Some of the things going on that day include a Child Safety Fair, our always popular Barrel Train Rides, and St. Thomas's and MPS’s 15th annual Free Book Fair where church members distribute free books to the children. It's fun to see their faces, as parents and children alike are thrilled to receive free books! The Orange County Litter Control Committee will be handing out free trash bags and pencils. The Orange Co. Fire Co. will have their ladder truck there and give away coloring books. It’s always an exciting evening for the kids. For more information call or visit the website.
