Photo by Ian Chini. Rev. Ludwell Brown was announced Friday as this year’s Grand Marshall of the Fourth of July parade. He was humbled, honored and so very happy as he accepted the recognition.
- I’ve attended a number of Fourth of July Festival breakfasts throughout my time as editor. It’s always a happy affair learning who will be the Grand Marshall of the parade and who the spirit winners are. This year was no exception but I have to say it was particularly memorable.

Orange County launches self-guided tours for railfans

- On May 26, 2015, tourism officials and local railroad enthusiasts, better known as “railfans” gathered in the historic Orange County Train Depot to launch their new Railfan tour guide “Tracks Through Time.” The tour connects railfans and novices alike to both the rich rail history of the area and to the railroad presence in the county today.
