Dylan is the son of Derek Emmel, one of Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office K-9 deputies. Jenkins boasts numerous programs in support of Culpeper’s youth which he plans to continue.

For a small restaurant, his menu is large serving everything from chili and potato soup to pulled pork, fried catfish and sirloin steaks.

Culpeper County moving ahead with Outer Loop

- The Culpeper County Board of Supervisors Wednesday morning voted to move ahead with construction of the Western Outer Loop that will connect Eggbornsville Road with Sperryville Pike by approving moving revenue sharing funds from a 2014 road-paving project and telling county staff to give VDOT the go ahead.

- While requesting Gov. Terry McAuliffe to fund a pretrial services program in Culpeper County next fiscal year to alleviate increased costs associated with housing inmates in other jails and the backlog of cases being prosecuted, the Culpeper County Board of Supervisors Wednesday morning discussed partnering with other localities with a pretrial services program or possibly with a one-of-a-kind non-profit program in the Charlottesville area.
