Historic Waterloo Bridge suffers from neglect and deterioration

SAVING THE BRIDGE: Connecting Culpeper and Fauquier Counties at Routes 622 and Routes 631, the Waterloo Bridge is once again under the scrutiny and study by the Virginia Department of Transportation. District Administrator John Lynch told Culpeper's Board of Supervisors that a decision would be made as early as this week whether to close the bridge on a temporary basis.
