Culpeper Senior Center celebrates renovations

- On Friday, Feb. 5, the Culpeper Senior Nutrition Site, better known as the Culpeper senior center, hosted a renovation kick off party, culminating almost three and a half years of fundraising.

State Theatre announces spring theatre classes

- The State Theatre continues to showcase its mission of inclusion, access, and sustainability by adding theatre classes for all school age children, as well as something for adults. This new initiative is being formally called State Theatre Educational Programs (STEPs) and is a cornerstone of the new community arts center that new Executive Director Steven Barker is putting into play.

- It took a special council meeting last Wednesday for the Culpeper Town Council to unanimously scrap the problem-plagued financial software the town has been using since 2007.
