Flint Hill Public House to host first summer festival

Thu., May. 16 - Tastings from several local vineyards and some of Virginia’s top craft brewers, along with three popular country bands will be the focus of the Flint Hill Public House Restaurant & Inn’s first “backyard festival” on June 15.

Council swallows hard, hikes meals tax

Wed., May. 15 - Beginning July 1 eating out in Culpeper will cost more. By a vote of 7-2, the Culpeper Town Council Tuesday night increased the meals tax from five to six cents. The alternative was to raise the real estate tax by a penny and several on the council said they couldn't stomach that.

McWilliams named new Binns assistant principal
