Town Council gives ‘nod’ to dam projects

- Following a presentation to town council Tuesday night by town Public Services Director Jim Hoy regarding mandated renovations to the town’s two “high risk” dams to bring them into compliance with state regulations, Town Manager Chris Hively said staff needed a “nod” of approval from council for the federal Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) to proceed with the design and planning of the renovations.
