Oak View National Bank promotes Peavley and Parker

Virginia State Police snow traffic report

- Slick road conditions continued to cause problems Monday as more than 1,100 motorists crashed on Virginia’s highways. From 12 a.m. Monday through 6:30 p.m. Monday, Virginia State Police troopers statewide responded to 1,145 traffic crashes and 451 disabled vehicles. Virginia State Police dispatchers fielded 2,952 total calls for service.

Town of Culpeper again activates Snow Emergency Route

- In anticipation of predicted significant snowfall, Culpeper Town Manager Dewey Cashwell will activate, at 10 p.m. Sunday night, the town’s Snow Emergency Route plan that prohibits parking and abandoning vehicles on specifically named roads and streets in town.
