Held annually at Southwind Farm, it gathers together children facing serious illness and those caregivers who look after them including many in the Culpeper community who volunteer their time. Photo by Ian Chini. Rev. Ludwell Brown was announced Friday as this year’s Grand Marshall of the Fourth of July parade. He was humbled, honored and so very happy as he accepted the recognition.
- I’ve attended a number of Fourth of July Festival breakfasts throughout my time as editor. It’s always a happy affair learning who will be the Grand Marshall of the parade and who the spirit winners are. This year was no exception but I have to say it was particularly memorable.
