COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT
EVERGREEN MILLS ROAD
OPEN HOUSE
Thursday, September 10, 2015
6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
(Staff presentation at 6:45 p.m.)
Creightons Corner Elementary School
Library Room
23171 Minerva Drive
Ashburn, VA 20148
The Loudoun County Department of Planning & Zoning will host an Open House regarding proposed changes to the Loudoun County 2010 Countywide Transportation Plan (CTP) for Evergreen Mills Road from Loudoun County Parkway to Northstar Boulevard (See Map below).
* Drop in to find out more about the proposed amendment
* Review maps and materials that highlight the proposed changes
* Provide your comments to help refine the proposed amendment
The proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment (CPAM), initiated by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, proposes establishing a new CTP segment for Evergreen Mills Road (Route 621) from Belmont Ridge Road (Route 659) to Northstar Boulevard (Route 659 Relocated) and revising the ultimate CTP condition of Evergreen Mills Road from Loudoun County Parkway (Route 606) to Belmont Ridge Road. The proposed changes are in response to results of a recent transportation study which showed that adding an Evergreen Mills Road connection to Northstar Boulevard would improve access to Washington Dulles International Airport from western Loudoun County and reduce traffic on Tall Cedars Parkway, Braddock Road, and Route 50.
RSVPs are not required to attend the Open House. Please contact the Loudoun County Planning and Zoning Department at 703-777-0246 for additional information or if you require any type of reasonable accommodation to participate as a result of a physical, sensory, or mental disability. Three days notice is requested.
