PROGRAM MANAGER

Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Developmental Services is currently seeking a full-time Program Manager of the Psychiatric Nursing Program. Successful candidate must have substantive experience working with individuals of all ages, who present with a range of mental health and substance abuse conditions. Job duties include direct services, such as medication administration and management. Position requires demonstrated experience with program development and evaluation including outcome assessments, maximizing of revenues, and measuring efficacy and efficiency. To ensure program compliance, the applicant must have knowledge of DBHDS licensure, DMAS regulations, VA statutes, and other governing and funding entities. Other responsibilities include personnel recruitment and selection, management of disciplinary issues, and performance planning and assessment. Primary work location is the Leesburg Mental Health Center with some hours in the Eastern Loudoun Mental Health Center. Schedule may include evening hours at least two evenings per week. Education and experience equivalent to a Masters Degree in Nursing with two years professional experience in mental health and/or substance abuse treatment, including supervisory experience. Must be eligible for VA Prescreening Certification. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Bilingual (Spanish) highly desirable. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal background check, TB test, driving record check and a valid drivers license in Virginia or regional state of residence.
