Second teen wanted in Thursday burglary arrested

A second teenager wanted by Culpeper police in a residential burglary yesterday surrendered to police at police headquarters about 11 a.m. today.

Police served arrest warrants on Darsel Justin London, 18, of Warrenton for burglary, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Thursday about noon, police and sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary in progress call in the 500 block of Scanlon Street. An alert neighbor called police after she saw two teens enter a neighbor’s unoccupied house.

When police arrived, London allegedly fled from the house, but Vincent Petros Crosland, 19, of the 800 block of Virginia Avenue in Culpeper, was found inside by a Culpeper County sheriff’s deputy and his canine.

Crosland was charged with burglary, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony.
The break-in investigation is ongoing.
