Prince William Chamber members win national honors

Two members of the Prince William Chamber of Commerce staff have been honored with awards for achievements in their industry. The American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) presented awards to Kris Johnson and Emily Guerrero during their national convention in Louisville, Kent. recently.

Johnson, the membership and sales director for the Prince William Chamber of Commerce, accepted an award for Top Sales Executive in the nation in the chamber’s budget category. She also brought home the Gold Circle of Champions Lifetime Achievement Award for reaching more than $500,000 in sales over the last 10 years.

Guerrero, the Chamber’s director of communications, accepted the ACE Gold Award for her work on the Chamber’s 2011 member directory and magazine, “Spotlight on Prince William.” The publication, named one of the best chamber marketing publications in the country, was a new concept for the Prince William Chamber in 2011. The 2012 issue will be available in early September.
