Kilby, Campbell in new roles

The Culpeper County Public Schools Division has announced new assistant principals for two of its elementary schools. The two administrators assumed their current responsibilities as of July 1.Andrea Kilby has been named the new assistant principal at Pearl Sample Elementary School. Susan Campbell left that position to move to Yowell Elementary School as the assistant principal there.
Kilby, 35, has worked as an English teacher for 12 years in the school division. She holds a masters degree in education administration from Shenandoah University. She lives in Culpeper County.When she is not working, Kilby enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading and working outside.
“I am looking forward to working with the staff, students and the families of Pearl Sample Elementary School,” Kilby said.
Campbell, 35, was the assistant principal at Pearl Sample for the past two years. Before that, she worked as a reading coach and taught elementary and middle school.
Campbell, who lives in Rappahannock County, has a masters degree in reading from the University of Virginia and in administration and supervision from George Mason University.
When she is not working, Campbell enjoys spending time with her husband and children, scrap booking, reading and participating in church activities.The start of Culpeper County Public Schools is less than two weeks away. School starts Aug. 22.
On Monday, Aug. 20, there will be a Student and Parent School Visitation Day, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Teachers will observe a dinner break from 4:30 - 5 p.m.)
