Juvenile charged with possession of sawed-off shotgun

On Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a 16-year-old male for possession of a sawed-off shotgun and possession of marijuana. The juvenile was found in possession of a stolen shotgun and marijuana at his home in the county.

When detectives recovered the shotgun it had been altered to create a “sawed-off” shotgun.

The juvenile is in custody at Blue Ridge Juvenile Detention in Charlottesville.
