It’s nearly noon: Have you voted?

If you are registered to vote and you haven't, there is still plenty of time. Polls close in Virginia at 7 p.m. Locally the Commonwealth's attorney position is up for grabs between incumbent Republican Paul R. Walther and Independent Megan Revas Frederick. The Culpeper Board of Supervisors Salem District seat will be decided between Independent Sanford Reaves Jr. and Republican Alexa V. Fritz. In the House of Representatives, Democrat Wayne Powell will attempt to unseat longtime congressman and House Majority Whip Republican Eric Cantor.

Stay tuned. Election results will be posted to this site as they become available as well as comments from some of the local candidates.
