Ellwood Manor welcomes return of ‘Civil War surgeons’

John R. Pelletier: Civil War Surgeon will return to Ellwood Manor Oct. 13 for his third of three visits this season, interpreting Civil War medicine for visitors from 11:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Ellwood's restored second floor.

Joining Pelletier on Saturday will be Dr. Adrian Wheat, a noted specialist in Civil War medical practices.

Plan to spend a few hours exploring the grounds, touring the house and experiencing the presentation.

Ellwood Manor is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday with free admission. For more information visit: www.fowb.org
