Eastern View hosts tournament Saturday

The second annual “Cyclone Duals” is set for Saturday at Eastern View High School beginning at 9:30 a.m.

A dozen teams will take to the mats during the daylong event, including the top three teams from last year: Stafford, Eastern View at Jefferson Forest.

Other teams competing include Madison, W.T. Woodson, Spotsylvania, Henrico, Riverbend, C.D. Hylton, Stonewall Jackson, Gar-Field and Liberty.

The Cyclone grapplers opened their season earlier this month going 10-0 to take the 5th annual Eagle Duals in Hedgesville, W.Va. Va

Yarhoski Aldiva (106 pounds), Bryan Ramey (113), Jamey Lynch (152) and Brandon Layher (160) all went 10-0 in their weight classes at the meet. Austin Jenkins (145) was 9-1.
