• Eastern View High School athletic boosters meeting in the forum, 7 to 8 p.m.
• Floyd T. Binns Middle School faculty vs. Student basketball game, 4 to 5 p.m.
• Third Thursday Book Club meets at Culpeper County Library at 7 p.m. Under discussion will be Martin Goldsmith's boiok, "The Inextinguishable Symphony." • "Danny Kaye: Actor, Comedian, Humanitrian" Sandy Bates, a successful comedy filmmaker, attends a festival conducted to honor his work. During the course of the weekend, he reconsiders his cinematic accomplishments as well as his past relationships. Directed and written by Woody Allen. This tribute to Danny Kaye will feature selections from the "Danny Kaye Show (1963-67) and guest appearances on other television programs, early theatrical shorts and clips highlighting Kaye's work with UNICEF.

• "On the Double" A foot soldier, along with his fellow troops, prepares for D-Day, but trouble begins when he is caught pretending to be the most important general in England, a man he closely resembles. • "Hans Christian Andersen" This fabricated musical biography of the famous Danish fairytale writer features several of his stories and a ballet performance of "The Little Mermaid." • Parent Night Out at Powell Wellness Center from 4 to 8 p.m. Drop off kids and enjoy a four-hour night out. Kids will play games and participate in planned activities. Dinner and snack provided. Cost: $28 for one child, $34 for two children, $38 for three children. Each additional child is $7. Open to non-members for $5 more per each fee. • Culpeper Regional Health Systen invites you to particiapte in an indoor triathlon – the Tri-ALL-athon -- to help support the American Heart Association. Individuals of all fitness levels, age 10 and older are welcome. The 65-minute event includes 12 minutes swimming or walking in the pool, 10 minute transition, 20 minutes riding an indoor bike, five-minute transition and 15 minutes running/walking on a treadmill. The $30 fee will benefit the American Heart Association. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Call: 829-4741.
