• "Star Trek and Deep Space Nine on Television" See the original Star Trek pilot of Gene Roddenberry's futuristic series about the U.S.S. Enterprise featuring Jeffrey Hunter as Captain Pike. It was rejected by the network in 1965 and not broadcast in its entirety until 1988. Color, 64 minutes.
In the pilot of Deep Space Nine, the third Star Trek-based series, Commander Sisko takes command of a surrendered space station and learns that it borders and unstable wormhole. • "It's A Date" An aspiring young actress, played by Deanna Durbin, hopes for the lead in a major new play, but discovers that her mother, a more seasoned performer, expects the same part.
