Culpeper Chamber candidate’s forum postponed

Originally scheduled for Monday evening, Culpeper County Chamber President Jim Charapich made the decision to postpone the candidate's forum due to weather alerts surrounding Hurricane Sandy.

Charapich followed the lead of the Culpeper County Public School System which announced Sunday that school would be closed Monday.

The forum will be held Thursday, Nov. 1, at the same place and time. It will be held at the Reva Fire hall located at 18230 Birmingham Road starting at 7 p.m.
Questions will be asked first of the two candidates running for the Salem District Board of Supervisor's seat Independent Sanford Reaves Jr. and Republican Alexa Fritz.

There will be a brief transition period before the next session begins at 8 p.m. presenting the two candidates for Commonwealth's Attorney ― Independent Megan Revas Frederick and Republican Paul R. Walther.
