Cedar Mountain youths hold pheasant hunt

Cedar Mountain Youths is hosting a European-style tower pheasant shoot as a fundraising activity to support its range development and youth programs on Nov. 18.

There is a maximum of 20 shooters.

There will be 10 birds released per shooter. A plate lunch will be provided.

All participants must have a current Virginia hunting license and must wear a blaze orange hat and/or vest. Participants must provide their own 12-, 16- 20- or 28-gauge shotguns and No. 5, 6 or 7.5 shot.

Participants must be pre-registered.
