CCHS boys, EVHS girls basketball teams both playing for district titles

Last week the Eastern View High School girls basketball team finished its regular season with a victory over Culpeper County High School and a loss to Courtland High School.The Cyclones (22-2 overall, 13-1 Battlefield District) moved on to tonight's Battlefield District finals by beating Spotsylvania High School 58-54 Tuesday night.
The CCHS boys team (22-2, 13-1) bested EVHS in the first round of the district tournament Monday night. The Blue Devils then beat Caroline High School in the semifinals Wednesday night and will play for the district championship Friday night.
