Breaking news: Culpeper town police seek help in identifying attempted theft suspects

Culpeper police are attempting to identify a man and woman who allegedly attempted to take a shopping cart of merchandise from the Wal-Mart store on Nov. 28.

The black male was wearing a furry hat with floppy ear coverings. The black female pushed the shopping cart to the front door, where they were confronted by store loss prevention personnel. The woman allegedly took items concealed in her purse and presented them to the store employees. She then abandoned the shopping cart. The man and woman fled on foot toward Belle Ave.

The female is possibly involved in another alleged theft earlier at the store.

Culpeper Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for information that helps solve this heinous crime. Callers can earn a cash reward by providing information. Callers never have to give their name of testify in court to earn a cash reward.
